This refund and withdrawal policy applies to the MapperTool online software (www.mappertool.com) operated by AirScan Kft.

MapperTool is a subscription-based digital content and digital service (SaaS) that performs automatic photogrammetric processing of data uploaded by the user.

Payments are handled through the Stripe system.

Stripe, as the payment service provider (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.), is responsible for the execution and security of transactions and the processing of refunds.

The MapperTool service qualifies as digital content and a digital service under Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.) and Directive 2011/83/EU.

By subscribing, the user gives express prior consent to the immediate provision of the service and acknowledges that, once provision has begun, they lose the 14-day right of withdrawal.

Accordingly, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised once the service has been made available.

Paid subscriptions (monthly or annual) renew automatically at the end of each billing period.

The user may cancel at any time. After cancellation the service remains available until the end of the period already paid for, and no further amount is charged.

Amounts already paid for a subscription period are non-refundable, including where the user cancels or stops using the service before the end of the paid period. This is without prejudice to the mandatory rights of consumers under applicable law and to the provider-side technical failure cases below.

Notwithstanding the above, MapperTool grants a refund in the following cases:

• the paid service could not be made available at all due to a technical error on the provider’s (AirScan Kft.) side,
• any other case where a refund is required by mandatory law.

Refund requests must be sent by e-mail to info@mappertool.com, including the project or subscription identifier.

Refunds are processed through Stripe as follows:

1. The user reports the issue in writing to info@mappertool.com.
2. The Service Provider reviews the case and the circumstances within 5 business days.
3. If the claim is justified, the refund is initiated via the Stripe platform.
4. Stripe processes the refund in accordance with its own policy.
5. The refunded amount is typically credited within 5-10 business days; the actual timing depends on Stripe and the user’s bank.

A handling fee may apply to a refund. In such cases the refunded amount is the paid amount reduced by that handling fee.

Important: AirScan Kft. cannot be held liable for issues arising from the operation of the Stripe system or delays in bank transfers.

A refund request may be rejected if:

• the service was made available and the subscription period is running or has run,
• processing has been completed successfully and the outputs are available,
• the error is caused by the user (e.g. incorrect data file, non-georeferenced imagery),
• the user seeks to exercise the right of withdrawal after the service has been made available.

Complaints related to refunds or withdrawal can be sent to info@mappertool.com.

The Service Provider acknowledges every complaint within 72 hours and provides a reply within 5 business days.

The Service Provider is not obliged to grant a refund in the event of force majeure (e.g. internet outage, natural disaster, failure of an external service provider).

In such cases MapperTool informs users via its official social media pages or by e-mail.
